Hall is the Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Capital Hall Partners and has been a principal investor, investment manager and advisor to over $22 billion of real estate transactions and investments including both public and private entities, and debt and equity interests.

Hall’s background include roles as a senior partner at Ernst & Young, LLP residing on the executive management team responsible for the firm’s U.S. real estate and hospitality advisory practice.  At Ernst & Young, he advised boards and executives of private equity funds and public and private companies, as well as, institutional investors on real estate investment, strategy, capital markets, mergers & acquisitions, and management organization and operations. His other management roles include serving as the Co-Chief Investment Officer and Co-Founder for Alvarez & Marsal Capital Real Estate, LLC, a real estate private equity firm where he was responsible for investment strategy, capital markets, investments, and asset management.

Hall began his career at Kenneth Leventhal & Co. He is a graduate of University of Illinois’ College of Commerce and Kellogg’s Executive Program at Northwestern University for Ernst & Young. He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive CPA) on the Real Estate Advisory Board for Santa Clara University, and has been a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Pension Real Estate Association (PREA), National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries (NCREIF) and other industry organizations.

Michael Bronska
MANAGING DIRECTOR/
CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER

Bronska is responsible for the Phoenix office, acquisitions, development and asset management for Capital Hall Partners. He is an experienced real estate developer, consultant, architect, and part-time academic. As an architect, Bronska designed and managed corporate projects across the United States including projects for the Salt River Project, Avnet, Gannett Corporation (USA Today), University of Phoenix, and Phelps Dodge (Freeport McMoran). In addition to the corporate clients, Bronska designed and managed numerous master planned communities and custom residences.

Bronska has been involved as an executive or principal in numerous real estate developments including several well-known master plan communities. Bronska is also an adjunct professor at the WP Carey School of Business at Arizona State University teaching undergraduate and graduate programs in real estate finance and real estate development.

Serena Overhoff

Overhoff is the Founder & President of Serena Overhoff & Partners, LLC. She has over twenty years of experience working with institutional asset managers and non-profits, in areas of strategic communications, business development, and relationship management. Serena Overhoff & Partners’ stated goal is to establish impact investment partnerships that specifically aim to strengthen communities across the country. She is also a Partner with Northwestern Capital Partners, a private boutique investment bank.

Before starting Serena Overhoff & Partners, Overhoff led strategic capital campaigns for non-profits and private sector organizations to meet major growth initiatives. She also spent several years working with the USC Marshall School of Business and Leventhal School of Accounting, the USC Alumni Association, the Orange County Museum of Art, the Segerstrom Center for the Arts and Kure It Cancer Research.

Overhoff received her B.A. from the University of Southern California Annenberg School for Communications, and she also earned a Certificate of Professional Studies from the University of Oxford, England. She is actively involved in the community with The Jacques Overhoff Foundation, Go Sustainable Now, USC Trojan League of Los Angeles, Dr. Arthur C. Bartner 50th Anniversary Spirit of Troy Legacy Campaign, and is a member of 100 Women in Finance.

Christos Kuliopulos
PRINCIPAL

Kuliopulos is a Principal of Capital Hall Partners located in the Boston office.

Kuliopulos has over 20 years of real estate advisory and investment experience, including strategic development planning and implementation, capital and partnership structuring, equity raising, real estate investment and commercial due diligence and financial modeling, product positioning and market feasibility, valuation, site selection and acquisition, project management and marketing.  He has extensive experience in multiple product types from planned communities, resorts developments, hi-rise buildings, TOD’s, industrial parks, single family home subdivisions, condominium communities, active adult, mill conversions, life sciences, healthcare and senior living.  In total, he has been involved in over $5 billion in real estate development, transaction and investment deals throughout the US, Canada, South America and the Caribbean.

Kuliopulos is a current principal and founding member of Blue Ocean Real Estate Advisors.  He was the past Partner and Founder of PrimeTime Communities, LLC, a full-service consulting and sales and marketing company.  Over a five-year period, expanded the company from three people to 62 and over $500 million in condominium asset value under management.  In addition to managing the day-to-day operations, Kuliopulos was the Partner in charge of all real estate advisory services and development.  This included property acquisition and disposition, presentation of Power Point reports, product positioning, demographic trending, cash flow statements, highest and best use analysis, and pricing.  He created and instituted several market feasibility and investment analytic tools such as a proprietary supply and demand feasibility model, site selection grading system and pricing and phasing maximization matrix. Prior to PrimeTime, he was a Senior Manager in Ernst & Young’s Real Estate Advisory Practice, which had the largest global real estate practice in the world, with over 300 consultants.  At Ernst Young, he was involved in the management and execution of dozens of underwriting, work-out, CMBS underwriting, strategic planning analyses of real estate companies and institutional grade office, medical, senior housing life-science, warehouse, industrial and mixed-use complexes located in over 20 markets through the U.S.  In addition, he worked as a consultant for five years at Valuation Counselors, performing senior housing valuations on a national basis.

Kuliopulos has a Masters Degree (Suffolk University) and Business Administration degree (UMASS, Amherst).  He has been published and quoted in multiple local and national periodicals on real estate trends.   He currently holds his Massachusetts broker license and completed all of the Member of Appraisal Institute courses.

Thomas Macone

PRINCIPAL

Macone is a Principal of Capital Hall Partners located in the Boston office.

Macone has over twenty-nine years in real estate development.  He has developed single-family subdivisions, multi-family housing and commercial and industrial projects, representing over 2.0 million square feet.  Macone’s strength is in identifying, analyzing, permitting, developing and marketing projects throughout New England.   His discipline and ability to work with people at all levels of local, State and Federal government are a large part of his success.

Prior to the start of his development career, Tom was a police officer in Somerville, MA for twelve years, the community he was born and raised in.   During that time he became one of the most decorated officers in the history of the department, receiving numerous awards, including the Medal of Honor.  Macone retired after being shot twice in the line of duty.   He has carried into real estate development the same discipline, determination and energy that made him such a highly decorated police officer.

In his spare time, Macone still runs the “Cops & Kids” program at the Somerville Y.  Over the past thirty plus years he has mentored thousands of kids.  He resides in Stoneham with his wife Debbie and daughters Jenna and Janelle.
