Student Housing consisting of a 6 story 194 unit (550 bed) deveopment located in Minneapolis completed in 2016. Privately owned and operated student housing development within walking distance of the University of Minnesota. Design and built to LEED Silver standards. Project management efforts included strong digital collaboration with a team of design, engineering consultants and contractors from seven states. Key challenges included strict design review requirements from the local neighborhood association (PPERIA), difficult weather, complex legal issues related to abandoned easements, environmental remediation and coordination with the Minneapolis long-range master plan to preserve future potential for 27th Avenue extension. The project received two ASID Legacy of Design Awards in 2015. Services included Product Positioning, Architectural Design/Permitting, Project Management, Technical Documentation, Construction Administration.
